I remember the kind of prom dress that I wore that time. It had a shade of green with some drapes on the side and it was truly a great dress for the prom. It was my mom who decided on it and she virtually designed the dress itself before sending it to a dressmaker. I remember her drawing it on her sketchpad and she spent some few hours on it, just to make sure that I would have the best looking dress in that prom, with the guarantee that I would not be showing up in there with the same dress as somebody else. Of course, it could have been a disaster on my part if I would show up in there, wearing the same dress as someone like one of my teachers. Although, from what I have heard, the dress shops nowadays would make sure that they would take note on all of their sales to make sure that the fashion disaster will never take place.
